I downloaded print HP & Scan doctor and after having extracted the files, I learned that the complete software solution has not been downloadedand as a result, I should click the software solution.
Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended. You can try this alternative solution to Scan:įTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi I looked for help & tried repeatedly, & am willing to renounce HP. HP Officejet 6500 all-in - One Printer does not scan for Windows 7 and HP Print and Scan doctor says 'not imaging' & send error message 8, - I reconnected my officejet drivers reinstalled, etc & nothing works.
